Rogge felt like he fell into an ice cave, and watched the great sword coming closer to him. It was still impossible to move.
Two swords from both side of the Rogge suddenly reached over and held the great sword. The greatsword borrowed a force to gently bounce and suddenly became extremely light and kept on moving toward the Rogge.
However, all the incoming attacks were blocked as if two long swords were woven into a tight net of swords. Apparently, the people holding the two swords were not simple.
After the blast like attacks passed, the sword lights dissipated and Kiwei, gasped for breath, holding the sword still pointed towards Rogge.
Her face was pale, she was wearing a set of leather armour, her eyes bloodshot, and bruises vaguely visible in her neck.
At the same time, three shadows exited from the building, appearing in front of the group. Seeing this, several people beside Rogge moved to meet them together.
Surprisingly, those three shadows were the same mercenaries of that day in the bar. Only the mage seems to be missing from the group.

At this point not far from them a loud shout rang: "Bold rebel, dare to attack the city guards of the Kingdom?!"
With that Sonorous sound, a squad armoured soldiers rushed over under the leadership of a heavily armoured knight and surrounded them and the building.
The people fighting with the Kiwei also tore the robes, revealing the soft armour inside with the city guard logo.
Rogge quickly retreated to one side and Emmett and others also came over and sneering at the female warrior.
The knight in heavy armour without saying a word pointed his Lance forward, and then the soldiers immediately swarmed, slashing their sword toward the mercenaries with the intent to kill.
At this moment, the mercenaries knew that they had fallen into the trap and without losing any time retreated into the building, pulling away from the soldiers.
From the Second floor, of that small building, the sound of an incantation could be heard and the next moment a large fireball came blasting in the midst of the group of the soldiers. The heat from the fireball mercilessly burned the bare skin of the soldiers.
Followed closely the second fireball flew down, a few soldiers who had been seriously injured immediately turning into fire people, screaming and falling down.
On the window of the second floor appeared the missing mercenary mage with both of his hands circulating deep frozen cold air. Numerous icicles rained down from his hands into the soldiers, a few of them immediately frozen like ice sculpture by the cold air and the icicles broke them into pieces.
Immediately after the attack, a gap appeared among the tight formation surrounding Kiwei and others and they seized the opportunity and immediately rushed out of the encirclement.

A tall soldier threw a rope to the window and wrapped it around the mage and pulled him down. But mage leapt out from the window and tried to float away in the air and escape.
Seeing this, the heavy armoured knight gave a loud shout his whole body flashed with the dark blue colour. The lance in his hands flew like a meteor and nailed the mage in the wall firmly through his chest.
Kiwei screamed and tried to go back. However, the mercenary warriors beside her held onto her tightly and put her on his shoulder and depart rapidly.
Another mercenary chanted a brief incantation, throwing out a scroll, which upon impact with the ground, many plant vines started to emerge from the ground, their branches crazily flying in the air.
Any objects touched by the vines were immediately wrapped within them. Several fast soldiers that were closely chasing the mercenaries were immediately entangled.
The mercenary took this opportunity to disappear in the slums.
Rogge looked at the direction that female warrior disappeared, was lost in thought, knowing fully well that she will never let go of this.
